When we talk about the American Dream, people usually think about that the American Dream is that everyone could be succeed by brave, smart and hard working. With the American Dream, people could be equally.This is a mental support to motivate person to be succeed. However, I think that the American Dream has turned into a pursuit of money and reputation, people could do anything for money even violate the law. In the most of people’s opinion, success means money. If they want to be succeed, they have to earn much money to gain the recognition of people. Thus the American Dream has been transformed into corruption. This picture says that although money is just a paper, it could control people’s entire life. It uses irony here to emphasize that how important money is to people and how deep the money control people’s life. In China, if people have much money, they could do almost everything. I don’t like them because they are arrogant. They think they are the best people in the world because of money. However, I still to make friends with them because they have money which means that they could provide me with different kinds of resources which I don’t have. Furthermore, I try my best to study because I think that if I have money, if I am succeed, I don’t need to impress people I don’t like any more and I could gain the recognition of people. In conclusion, American Dream has already dead. The money has controlled it so people pursue money instead of dream.
