The American Dream is not able to provide same opportunity to everyone because of class differentiation.Because not all people come from same class.Therefore, people who born purple have more chance to be succeed.For example, I receive good education is not because I work hard.Instead,my parents provide it to me.
According to modern media, American Dream represent homeownership, economic opportunity and diverse communities. There are unequal chances for people live in different place to achieve the American Dream.And the chance of achieving the American Dream depends on local policy and law. Furthermore, there are only a few chances of achieving the American Dream even in the top city in the diagram, which mean most of American are no longer believe the American Dream. In modern city, it is well-known that it is not same chance to achieve her or his dream. It is impossible for media or government to cheat people anymore. As a result, modern media directly provides better choices for people who are still working for the American Dream. The American Dream is presented in a realistic but ironic way. The American Dream was supposed to provide same opportunity for people who work hard. However, most of people have already accepted the reality of the American Dream, which is not equal to everyone.
